Wiesbadener Forum for Innovative Implantology
Wiesbaden Forum for Innovative Implantology
Topic: Update Implantology - New and Proven
On 18 and 19 June 2021, the Wiesbaden Forum for Innovative Implantology will take place for the sixth time at the Dorint Hotel Pallas under the scientific direction of Prof. Dr. Dr. Knut A. Grötz. This time the focus will be on current trends in implantology.
The Wiesbaden Forum for Innovative Implantology was one of the last events to take place successfully at the end of October last year, shortly before the lockdown. For 2021, too, the organisers are optimistic that, in view of falling infection figures and the vaccinations now being used on a larger scale, the event, which has already become a tradition, can once again be successfully realised in compliance with the relevant hygiene requirements. This time, however, "Wiesbaden" will take place in early summer instead of autumn in view of the very tight dental training calendar this year.
Due to its interdisciplinary approach, the Wiesbaden Forum for Innovative Implantology has meanwhile made a name for itself beyond the region. This is not only in relation to the traditional combination of surgery and prosthetics, but also with regard to the extended perspective into neighbouring disciplines. In view of the current situation, the scientific programme will start with questions on the topic of "Treatment in times of pandemics", an important issue both currently and in the future. The lectures that follow have, as usual, an enormous bandwidth. They range from 3D diagnostics and treatment planning, bone and tissue regeneration to problems and possible solutions for compromised patients. All in all, this is once again a multi-layered and scientifically sound programme of lectures where everyone can take away something for their everyday practice.
Since dentists from the region in particular are to be addressed, the event is designed as a one-day congress (Saturday, scientific lectures). Pre Congress seminars and the team programme round off the event.
Note: The event will be held in accordance with the applicable hygiene guidelines! Potential participants are requested to register in advance if possible and to refrain from registering on site.
